Zordon temporarily shuts down, leaving Alpha 5 with more responsibility than usual around the Command Center. When Alpha encounters a young boy named Dylan, he decides to help him, but Lord Zedd sees an opportunity to exploit the situation. Zedd sends Primator, a shape shifting monster capable of impersonating the Rangers themselves. Suddenly, the heroes cannot even be certain who they are fighting. The Rangers must uncover Primator’s trick while racing to rescue Alpha 5 before the monster can discover the location of the Command Center.
