MY-TH’s seventh episode gives Sora a formidable challenge when a particularly powerful Fukashigi appears and withstands his finishing attack. Sora is determined to defeat it for Yuna’s sake, but the battle grows more complicated when Muton, angered with My-Th, attacks and transforms into a Kamen Rider herself. The arrival of another enemy pushes the fight into a more dangerous phase, making this episode an important step in expanding the Rider conflict.
BLACK’s seventh episode, The Regenerated Bio-Machine, continues the original series’ focus on strange biological technology and the threats associated with Gorgom. The idea of regeneration is especially fitting for a series concerned with altered bodies and artificial life. Kotaro’s enemies repeatedly demonstrate that the danger he faces cannot always be understood as a conventional fight between a hero and a single monster.
This is one of the clearest thematic comparisons between the two series. Both put the hero against a threat that challenges his usual approach to combat, while the surrounding story hints at larger forces at work. MY-TH makes that escalation visible through multiple Riders entering the fight and the failure of a familiar finishing move. BLACK’s biological menace reinforces the series’ darker fascination with mutation and unnatural life. The newer show emphasizes an expanding ensemble of rivals, while the older show maintains its focus on the frightening consequences of Gorgom’s power.
