Kunai is another character who can travel between dimensions, which immediately separates him from ordinary humans. Episode 10 introduces him as a ninja who, like Reiji, can cross dimensions and transform into Gavan Raiya.

The major mystery is whether Kunai’s dimensional travel comes from technology, supernatural ninja techniques, Emorgy, or something else entirely. If his ability developed independently of Reiji’s technology, then the universe may contain several completely different ways of crossing dimensional boundaries.
