Shinken-Oh is the primary robot of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger, the 2009 season centered on samurai, Japanese tradition, and the mysterious Gedoushu. It combines the five Origami associated with the Shinkengers, turning the team’s animal symbols into a large armored warrior. Shinken-Oh’s appearance strongly resembles a traditional Japanese samurai, complete with helmet-like head armor and a large sword. Its signature weapon is the Shinkenmaru, and the robot’s combat techniques frequently incorporate the Shinkengers’ elemental powers. It is one of the most deliberately traditional Japanese-looking robots in Super Sentai.
