Kishiryu-Oh is the primary robot of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger, the 2019 dinosaur-and-knight-themed Super Sentai season. It is formed from the Kishiryu dinosaurs, most notably the Tyrannosaurus-inspired Tyramigo, and combines prehistoric animal imagery with medieval knight aesthetics. Kishiryu-Oh is able to exchange Kishiryu components, giving it different combinations and weapons. Its sword-based fighting style fits the Ryusoulgers’ identity as ancient warrior knights who have inherited the powers of the dinosaurs. The robot consequently brings together two major visual ideas-dinosaurs and European-style armor-in a way that distinguishes it from earlier dinosaur robots.
