A mysterious new warrior arrives in Angel Grove, and the Power Rangers have no idea that their greatest challenge may be standing directly in front of them. Rita Repulsa introduces a powerful Green Ranger whose abilities appear to rival, and perhaps even exceed, those of the existing team. The newcomer is not simply another monster, because he possesses the same kind of fighting abilities and Ranger technology as the heroes. As Jason and the others attempt to understand who this mysterious warrior is, Rita begins putting a much larger plan into motion, setting the stage for one of the most important conflicts of the first season.
