The main Kyoryugers were eventually joined by numerous additional warriors. There were different colors, different dinosaur powers, and characters connected to different periods and circumstances.

This huge lineup gave the season a sense that the Kyoryuger legacy was bigger than one generation. The dinosaur powers could be carried by different people and used in different ways.

Some of the additional Kyoryugers had personalities completely different from Daigo’s team. Others came from unusual backgrounds and brought their own fighting styles.

The large number of Rangers also made the team’s group battles especially impressive. Instead of seeing five heroes standing together, viewers could sometimes see an enormous collection of colorful warriors attacking the enemy at once.

Kyoryuger’s expanded roster became one of its defining characteristics and helped establish the season as one of the franchise’s biggest team-oriented productions.
