Zyuranger is enormously important outside Japan because its footage formed the foundation for the first Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season.

The Zyurangers were dinosaur-themed warriors from an ancient civilization.

Their suits, monsters, weapons, and Zords provided much of the visual material used by the American production.

However, the American story added completely different characters, dialogue, and mythology around that footage.

Because of that, Zyuranger and Mighty Morphin are closely connected but are not the same story.
