Denshi Sentai Denziman was the fourth Super Sentai series and continued the development of the franchise’s giant-robot formula.

The Denziman team used technology-based powers, giving the season a strong electronic and scientific identity.

The team’s giant robot, Daidenjin, became an important part of the series.

Denziman also helped establish the kind of colorful team structure that would become increasingly familiar to audiences.

The series is especially important historically because it sits at the point where Super Sentai was evolving from its experimental early years into the more recognizable format that would dominate the 1980s and beyond.
