Zack takes a young child under his wing and tries to teach him an important lesson about believing in himself. At the same time, Rita’s forces unleash Hatchasaurus and Cardiatron, creating another major threat for Angel Grove. Zack’s role as a mentor becomes especially meaningful as he tries to help someone younger gain confidence while also carrying the responsibility of being the Black Ranger. The episode combines Zack’s personal connection with the child and another massive monster battle, giving him a chance to show that being a hero involves inspiring other people as much as defeating monsters.
