The world of Angel Grove is about to change forever when the evil space witch Rita Repulsa escapes from her ancient imprisonment and sets her sights on Earth. Zordon, the mysterious guardian of the Command Center, realizes that the planet needs a new team of heroes and chooses five teenagers with very different personalities to become the Power Rangers. Jason, Kimberly, Billy, Trini and Zack must learn how to work together while discovering their new powers, weapons and giant Dinozords. Meanwhile, Rita wastes no time sending her forces against Angel Grove, giving the newly formed Rangers their first opportunity to prove that they can stand between Earth and a terrifying new threat.
