Rita’s plan takes a particularly dangerous turn when she creates evil mutant versions of the Power Rangers. These enemies are designed to imitate the heroes, making them a serious threat because they possess many of the same abilities and fighting skills. The real Rangers must face opponents who know exactly how they operate, creating one of the season’s more personal battles. Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini and Kimberly have to prove that being a true Ranger is about more than possessing powers. Their courage, friendship and ability to work together become the qualities that can separate the real heroes from Rita’s artificial creations.
