Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills: Review: The Imposter

Looking back at episode thirty-one, The Imposter, it actually does some really interesting heavy lifting for the dynamic of our core group. Instead of just another standard monster of the week setup from Emperor Gorganus, this chapter takes a deeper dive into the characters. It serves as a great blueprint for how these rich kids are forced to deal with their egos while keeping the universe safe.
The plot really gives Drew a chance to shine with an emotionally complex storyline that actually matters for the long run.
When you have a show where the main characters famously do not get along and constantly bicker, episodes like this are crucial. The whole setup forces Lori to step up and imitate Drew, which highlights the growing pains of their teamwork. It is a solid reminder that despite their petty high school drama, they have to figure out how to function as a unit if they want to survive what Gorganus throws at them next.
