Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills: Review: Winner Takes All

Winner Takes All is literally such a core moment for Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills because it tackles the funniest reality of the entire series. If you watched the earlier episodes, you already know these four rich high school kids actually kind of hated each other and were just forced to hang out by their weird blob mentor Nimbar. But in episode twenty nine, they finally decide to drop the attitude and officially become friends, which instantly backfires because real friendship apparently brings a whole new level of petty teenage drama that makes saving the universe way more complicated than it needs to be.

The main plot gets wild when Emperor Gorganus decides to send his favorite robot warrior Ninjabot down to Earth with a massive challenge. Instead of a regular chaotic monster mash, he demands a formal duel between Ninjabot and just one of the Galactic Sentinels, layout out these strict old rules called the rules of Gonar which ban lasers or any cool futuristic weapons. The stakes are ridiculously high because if the chosen teen loses, everyone on Earth gets turned into alien slaves, prompting this amazing training montage where the squad has to prepare for the ultimate showdown.
