Five Robo is the principal mecha of Chikyu Sentai Fiveman, which aired in 1990. It combines five individual vehicles piloted by the Hoshikawa siblings, making the robot closely connected to the family-centered premise of the series. Five Robo has a colorful, heavily armored appearance and possesses multiple weapons associated with the five siblings. Its fighting style emphasizes teamwork, reflecting the fact that the pilots are brothers and sisters who have spent their lives working together. The robot is therefore not simply a battle machine but an extension of the Fiveman family’s unity.
