Mami Yamasaki’s Shizuka is another villain who became part of the broader Sentai heroine fandom. Her distinctive styling and confident personality made her one of Boukenger’s most recognizable female characters. Toei has also included Yamasaki among its “evil heroines” alongside other major female Sentai performers.

Shizuka’s appeal is largely based on attitude. She is mischievous, stylish and self-assured, giving Yamasaki a chance to play a very different type of heroine from Sakura or Natsuki.
