The name MY-TH itself raises questions. Is it simply a stylized name, or does “MY-TH” have an important meaning connected to mythology, history, or the Rider’s powers?

If the name refers to a forgotten myth, then the series may be hinting that its supernatural events have happened before. The current Riders might therefore be repeating an ancient conflict without realizing that previous generations encountered the same forces.
