The narrative focuses on communication breakdowns and the friction between contrasting personalities like the structured Laurie and the more arrogant Gordon. When a new threat emerges, the characters are forced to coordinate their actions more effectively, showcasing the early teething problems of a team that has not yet learned how to trust one another fully.
