Characters such as Radiguet, Rio, Mele, Basco, and many others have developed strong fan followings.

Their popularity often comes from having complicated motivations.

A memorable villain needs more than an intimidating costume.

They need personality, ambition, relationships, and memorable scenes.

Super Sentai has repeatedly demonstrated that a strong villain can become almost as important to a season’s identity as its Rangers.
