Eediat: This is basically calling someone an idiot, but the accent makes it sound way funnier and a little less harsh than the English version. If your friend does something incredibly dumb, like locking their keys in the car while it’s still running, you just shake your head and call them an eediat. It’s definitely an insult, but among close friends, it’s used more as tough love. It’s the perfect word to use when you are completely dumbfounded by someone’s lack of common sense.
