Eeh?: This is a tiny little word that gets tacked onto the end of sentences, and it functions exactly like we use “right?” or “you know what I mean?” It’s a way to seek agreement from the person you’re talking to. If you say “the food at this restaurant is amazing, eeh?” you’re asking them to validate your opinion. It keeps the conversation feeling like a two-way street because you’re constantly checking in to make sure the other person is following along and agreeing with your points.
